I had the honour and privilege of working alongside Danny this year; he’s inspired a whole generation with his infamous body of work, including me. I expected to be a fly on the wall as I photographed him hard at work as he shot the studio I worked for, but what I didn't expect was for us to get on so well. We spent the session talking about the industry and exchanging stories. We’ve stayed in contact since, and it remains a career highlight for me to have worked alongside him and to have his seal of approval on my work.
